One of the first things you’ll do when firing up Enshrouded is create your character and their appearance, but if you’re as indecisive as almost every gamer in the world, you might want to change it as you play. Most games nowadays have a feature that lets people alter how their characters look, from changing their hairstyle to their body type and even some facial elements. However, like many other survival games where things unlock as you venture further, many wonder if there’s a way to alter one’s look after starting an adventure.
Is There a Way To Change Your Character’s Appearance in Enshrouded?
Sadly, no. There was no way to do this when the game launched in Early Access. Even after hours of exploring, upgrading a Flame Altar, and even beating the game’s bosses, there was no way to do this. However, this doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Games get updates as their early access period progresses, and a few other titles bring the ability to change one’s look even after the game has been released. So, your first definitive choice when playing should be to focus on making a character you’re happy with.
However, for those fashionable players, many items make for the lack of an option to change your character’s appearance in Enshrouded. With different skill trees to open up reminiscent of those in Skyrim, several armor pieces’ll allow you to dress your character as the hunter or mage of your dreams.
And, if you’re struggling to find your footing in the game, we have a starter guide you can check to help you during the game’s first hours. After all, delving into the Shroud can be dangerous for the unprepared, so a little nudge in the right direction always helps.
Enshrouded is available on Early Access on PC via Steam.
