Before starting this mission, you must complete the Crown of the Mundane and Divine quest series, the event in which Ruan Mei appears. Also, there is the mission with Dr. Ratio, who is investigating the attack on one of Herta’s puppets. In addition to the Trailblaze Mission Whodunit, which unlocks the map Penacony, at the end of The Trees at Peace Mission, it will appear in Honkai Star Rail.
How to Complete The Trees at Peace Mission in HSR
The Trees at Peace quest is a long world mission in Honkai, and it requires traveling between planets, but to complete it, you must follow these steps:
1. Chadwick will talk to you, but a hound will make you flee. At the same time, Clockie will ask you to speak to him by the central planter.
2. Then you can approach Chadwick again and use the Clockwork, but you need an Angry Gear. Absorb the emotions of the people in the area to get it and repair Chadwick.
3. Chadwick will remember that he was part of a Genius Society, so Trailblazer will talk to Herta, and she will ask you to go to her office. Talk to Herta, and Screwllum will ask you to accompany him to The Reverie (Reality). The nearest Space Anchor is the Hotel Lobby.
4. A group of Hounds won’t let you see Chadwick, but Screwllum will convince them. Here, you should go to The Reverie (Reality) F3; you can use the Space Anchor Vip Lounge to get to Chadwick’s room faster.
5. There will be no trace of Chadwick in the room, and you must investigate until Screwllum shows you Chadwick’s bubble and gives you a bottle of medicine.
6. With that bubble, you can enter the Enter Chadwick’s Emoscape; when you enter, look for Chadwick in the dream to repair his Clockwork by giving him the medicine. In the Emoscape, you will see Chadwick’s life and achievements with the IPC. When you get to Dudley and the AI, choose Hit the button, or they will make you restart that part until you do.
7. After the detonation, you will appear in the dream; you must reach Chadwick and solve the Screwllum puzzle with him. The pieces will go to different parts of the room:
- First piece: Go to the left side of the room and climb up the wall. Then, climb up the central column before the IPC guard.
- Second Piece: Go down the same column and past the guard. Just go for more charges to build the bridge. The piece is above some stairs.
- Third Piece: Keep going straight ahead to reload so you can climb up the wall. You will see a guard and then a bridge, but before that bridge, turn right and go up that way.
Now, you can return to the Screwllum puzzle by the bridge you passed first.
8. After completing the puzzle, Screwllum and Chadwick will talk before being teleported to an office, which you must investigate in one of the safes, a pile of books, and the letters on the desk.
9. Ultimately, you must go to the Seclusion Zone, where you must talk to Screwllum and Herta, who will tell you they managed to free Chadwick’s bubble. But to finish the mission, you must deactivate the life support devices.
After completing The Trees At Peace, HSR will give you The Good Deeds a Man Has Done achievement. Also, you free Chadwick’s memory remnants and prevent the IPC from using them to return their lethal weapon.
