Little Devil Inside is one of those projects that, when announced, stirred up a lot of interest because of its memorable gameplay trailer but then vanished for a very long time. It was initially announced during the PlayStation State of Play event in October 2021 and looked unique and fresh. But ever since, the developers have been radio silent, which has led most fans to believe that the project was either canned or in development hell.
But in a fortunate turn of events, the developers of Little Devil Inside, Neostream, have come out with an even longer gameplay trailer and a development update that should put most fears to rest. The new gameplay video, which you can watch in its entirety below, shows even more of the game’s odd and fascinating setting coupled with that unmistakable art style.
New Little Devil Inside Gameplay Trailer Shows The World & Development Update
The six-minute video shows some surreal gameplay snippets that look amazing in Unreal Engine 5. The vast mountains haven’t gone anywhere, and the plethora of different combat encounters are also still there. But even so, the most important question regarding the project’s release date remains unanswered, at least fans know that it is still being worked on.
Neostream explained that its team had expanded once the game got some traction, and it may have been detrimental to the vision of Little Devil Inside. Although the team started off with just two people, the team kept growing for a while but has not cut back to a small focused group that aims to deliver a game that stays true to its original promise.
You can visit the Little Devil Inside Kickstarter for more information on the game. Once Neostream finds a suitable publisher, it will be ready to announce the release date of Little Devil Inside.
