A theory fans have had has been confirmed. It has been revealed that the villain, or at least one of the villains we will see in Deadpool & Wolverine, will be Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin. The Crown star’s evil twin sister of Professor X will make for the Merc with the Mouth’s most formidable foe.
People have been speculating about this for some time. In the trailer, we saw a brief shot behind someone’s bald head. The MCU has had plenty of threatening and sometimes weird antagonists. Cassandra Nova will rank highly up there with the deadliest enemies we have seen in the universe.

The official copyright for the film confirmed the cast, including the antagonist. Her name is alongside some of the main cast members, including Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, with supporting cast members like Jennifer Garner, who reprises her role as Electra during an old era of superhero movies.
The character made her debut in 2001 with New X-Men #114 by Grant Morrison. The twin sister of Charles Xavier/Professor X originated as a psychic entity from the Astral Plane who found herself in the womb with him. As a fetus, Charles knew who and what she was, so he attempted to kill her. She survives with a hatred for mutants, which could be modified to suit her motivations in the upcoming MCU movie.
Emma Corrin, playing the villain in Deadpool & Wolverine, confirms only one of the many rumors circulating the movie. There will be many cameos, but only a handful have been confirmed. As the movie dives headfirst into the multiverse, it could utilize the concept better than any entry in the Multiverse Saga if the rumors only scratch the surface.
Deadpool & Wolverine will be the only Marvel Studios film of the year. It will also be the studio’s first R-rated movie. The film will bring its gory hilarity to theaters on July 26.
