Palworld‘s official X page has announced that Bellanoir will be the first Raid Boss in the game. Pocketpair has released a short trailer introducing the new pal and announcing upcoming Raid Battles in Palworld. However, the exact release date has yet to be confirmed. Let’s look at everything we know about Bellanoir and Raid Battles.
Everything We Know About Bellanoir in Palworld
So far, the publisher has announced only a little information on Palworld‘s official pages. The post with the video says, “A powerful evil Pal has appeared and is laying siege to the Galapagos Islands!” Considering the look of Bellanoir and this post, it will most likely be a dark-type pal in Palworld. Also, we can expect it to have high stats since it is a Raid Boss.
Bellanoir looks very similar to Gardevoir in Pokemon Go, the Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. However, Pocketpair will deny any similarities between Gardevoir and Bellanoir. Also, I think if we compare Gardevoir with any pals in Palworld, Lyleen is the better match.
When Will Raid Battles and Bellanoir Be Introduced
Pocketpair has not yet announced the Raid Battles or Bellanoir release date in Palworld. But they will most likely introduce the Raid Battles and the new pal at the end of the testing period. So, if we are lucky, we might be able to raid Bellanoir in late April 2024. Also, there is an announcement for closed testing applications in the Palworld Discord channel. The developers might also release Raid Battles with this close testing program.
The Palworld Battle mechanism is different from Pokemon Go. In Pokemon Go, the player commands their Pokemon in the battle while staying in the back seat. However, in Palworld, the player actively participates in battles and has less control over how their pals attack. So, it will be interesting to see how Pocketpair introduces this battle mechanism to PvP Battles and Raid Battles.
