Brookhaven isn’t the only game The Hunt is featured in; Adopt Me is in on the event, too. Apparently, poor Tom the Time-Traveler has lost three pieces to his time machine. So, rather than collect a bunch of Easter eggs, you’ll be finding the three missing Time Machine Cogs. The problem is he can’t find them in the present. To complete The Hunt in Adopt Me, you’ll have to travel back in time!
How to Get All Time Machine Cogs in Adopt Me The Hunt Event
To find every Time Machine Cog in Adopt Me, you’ll be doing some of your own time travel. You’ll have to revisit some of Adopt Me’s past events, specifically the Winter 2022, Halloween 2023, and South East Asia 2023 events.
You can get started by talking to Tom, the NPC standing outside three portals. You can find him on Adoption Island by opening your Task Board. Speaking with Tom will give you the gist of what’s going on.
How to Obtain Time Machine Cog in South East Asia 2023 Portal
The first Time Machine Cog is found in South East Asia 2023. It’s nothing more than a simple scavenger hunt, where you locate three crabs scattered across a group of islands. One of them is bound to have the cog.
You’ll find the first crab straight ahead, as soon as you enter the zone, while the other two are to your immediate left if the portal is to your back. The last two crabs are close to one another, so you can’t miss them!
How to Obtain Time Machine Cog in Winter 2022 Portal
Up next is the Winter 2022 portal, which is arguably the hardest one to complete. The minigame you’ll be playing this time is Present Shuffle, and you can talk with Burt to get it started.
Burt will hide the Time Machine Cog in one of five presents and shuffle them around. He’ll do this four times, and you have to find the cog each time. You cannot fail, or you’ll have to start over!
Unfortunately, where the cog is hidden is different for each player. My advice to you is to place your finger or mouse cursor over the gift that has the cog, then move it whenever the gift moves.
How to Obtain Time Machine Cog in Halloween 2023 Portal
Last, but not least, is the Time Machine Cog in the Halloween 2023 portal. This time the minigame is the popular Tile Skip, which has been featured in many of Adopt Me’s events in the past.
It isn’t particularly hard, though a little tedious. The goal is to step on the right tiles, otherwise you fall through. You have to do it by yourself, so none of your friends can join you (nor can they teleport to you). A few tips for beating Tile Skip:
- Tiles that will fall wobble (but you have to wait a few seconds to see)
- Tiles with a star are checkpoints; you’ll start back at your last checkpoint if you die
- If you die, the tiles you stepped on will stay, so you don’t have to restart
What’s the Prize For Beating Adopt Me The Hunt Event?
Once you have all three Time Machine Cogs in Roblox, return to Tom on Adoption Island. Speak with him and he’ll give you two rewards:
- The Uplift Games’ Adopt Me! The Hunt: First Edition Badge
- The Time Traveler’s Clock vehicle
One important fact to keep in mind is that the Time Traveler’s Clock vehicle isn’t tradeable. That means if you don’t participate in The Hunt in Adopt Me, it’s unlikely you’ll ever get a chance to get it again.
