Warframe: Kuva Lich & Kuva Weapon Farming Guide (Fast & Easy)

The utterly busted Incarnon weapons in Warframe might be all the rage for late-game combat, but if you’re just new or fresh out of the early game and are ready for more advanced stuff, then the Kuva weapons offer a nice middle ground between power and accessibility. They can be somewhat confusing to farm or obtain especially for newer players, so here’s how to reliably get Kuva weapons from a Kuva Lich in Warframe.

Warframe Kuva Lich System Explained

Think of these as a nemesis boss-hunting activity. Each Kuva Lich you’ve defeated will reward you with the exact Kuva weapon they’re carrying (if you vanquish them).

At any given time in Warframe, you can only have one Kuva Lich active and you have to defeat them before you can activate another one. Therefore, you can repeat the Kuva Lich hunting loop as many times as you can and get as many Kuva weapons as you can.

How to Get a Kuva Lich the Fast Way

Getting a Kuva Lich is supposedly random, but there are mission spots with guaranteed Kuva Lich spawn rates. You first need a Kuva Larvling to spawn on a mission; defeating them will turn them into a Kuva Lich. This is the recommended spot if you want a Kuva Larvling/Lich:

• Capture mission in Cassini, Saturn

There are alternatives and a Kuva Larvling can also spawn in any Grineer tileset with at least level 20 enemies. However, Cassini, Saturn is an easy Capture mission, and for a smooth run, here’s a step-by-step process.

1. Go to Cassini, Saturn (Capture mission).
2. Capture the mission target.
3. Wait for the lights to flicker (it might happen before you capture the mission target). This indicates the presence of a Kuva Lich.
4. Find the Kuva Lich and defeat them– before you Mercy Kill them with the Parazon, check what Kuva weapon they have.
5. The Kuva weapon is indicated in a large icon over the Kuva Lich’s head.
6. If you like the Kuva weapon you see, go ahead and Mercy Kill the Kuva Lich and then finish the mission and extract.
7. If you don’t like the Kuva weapon, you can simply abort the mission and then try again until you see the Kuva weapon you want.

After this, the Kuva Lich will introduce themselves in your Orbiter. As for the good Kuva weapons, consider prioritizing the following:

• Kuva Bramma
• Kuva Nukor
• Kuva Zarr
• Kuva Hek

Killing the Kuva Lich

Killing the Kuva Lich is a long process. You’ll need the proper and corresponding Requiem Mods equipped on your Parazon to kill them three times before they’re finally on their last life.

There’s a lot of guesswork involved in finding out which Requiem Mods sequence will kill the Kuva Lich. However, you can use an Oull Requiem Mod to make it easier.

Once you have killed them thrice all over the solar system, they’ll flee to the Veil Proxima where you’ll have to assault their ship with your own Railjack ship. We recommend approaching that final step with a squad as Kuva Liches are tough enemies.
