In Episode 1, we’ll see Kafka go from working as the cleanup crew to finding his new destiny. With dreams of joining the Defense Force to fight kaiju, he risks letting his chance pass him by. Despite doing thankless work cleaning up monster remains, Kafka finds a new lease on life. Fans worldwide can watch this in its original Japanese, but there’s good news for the English dub!
Kaiju No. 8 English Dub Release
Kaiju No. 8 will release the English dub on Saturday, April 13, at 8:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET! That’s right, it’ll be available on the same day as the English sub, just an hour and a half later! Other noteworthy recent series to do this include Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
It’s not a new development in the industry per se, but becoming more common is a welcome change. The Eminence in Shadow and Metallic Rouge. This keeps the hype alive instead of potential newcomers waiting weeks for their fix. This means everybody can tune in on April 13, 2024!
