Janelle Brown is trying to heal during a difficult time in her life. It’s been just over a month since the Sister Wives star and ex Kody Brown lost their 25-year-old son, Garrison Brown, after death by suicide. Though information has come out that indicates family members were worried about Garrison, his death was truly shocking to the whole family. Garrison was in the thoughts of the whole family on April 10th, which would have been his 26th birthday.
Janelle Shared a Heartfelt Tribute to Her Son on Instagram
Janelle Brown honored Garrison on April 10th with an Instagram post showing him celebrating another recent birthday. In the caption, she talked about how much the family is missing Garrison.
Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We are missing you terribly today. It’s hard to believe you aren’t here anymore. We talked a lot about you today and even went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (your favorite place 😀). I still feel you nearby sometimes. And I’m grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed.

Mykelti Padron reshared Christine’s post, simply adding, “Miss you little bro.” Leon Brown also reshared the post on their Instagram Story, talking about how emotional the day was for them.
I spent the whole day crying yesterday because I just wanted to text you ‘Happy birthday, Garry.” I miss you so much, I love you forever.

Janelle Recently Thanked Fans for Their Support
Almost a month after Garrison’s passing, Janelle took to Instagram to share moments from his celebration of life as she thanked everyone who reached out to her in the wake of this family tragedy.
It’s been hard to get my brain to work properly again. I am so grateful for the out pouring of love and support I’ve received these last three weeks. The support has been overwhelming. I am honored. So many of you shared stories of your loved ones. So many of you wrote of your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
Garrison was honored by family members and by his National Guard Unit last Sunday at a celebration of life ceremony. He would have loved it.
I am sharing some of the photos. Many you have already seen a lot of these online, often with snarky comments accompanying them. But this was a beautiful moment for us.

The Brown family is understandably in an impossible place at this time. Sister Wives fans are anxious to see how the family heals from this tragedy, especially as the season currently filming has been described as “dark” by those familiar with the production. It’s unknown how involved the different Brown children will be in the season, with several of them opting not to appear on the show in recent years.
