Genshin Impact‘s 4.7 update is coming, and with it, one of the characters who always takes so long to return. No, we aren’t talking about Eula or some re-run. However, you should know that in the seventh patch, Dainsleif returns, as speculated in the Version 4.7 leaks. The appearance of this knight only means new information that we discover about Khaenri’ah and our lost twin, as this only happens once every time a nation’s narrative reaches its endpoint.

The last time Dainsleif was with the Traveller was in Version 3.7 in the Archon Quest: Caribert. In this quest, Dainsleif meets Kaeya in Sumeru and makes the connection to the Alberich lineage of Khaenri’ah. We also see how Chlothar works with the Sinner to save his son, Caribert, and how our twin helps them. However, these missions with Dainsleif leave many more questions than answers. After almost a year of not seeing him, leaks for Genshin Impact 4.7 indicate that Dainsleif will return and will surely do so with another revelation of great magnitude.

We hope that now that Natlan is about to arrive and only two nations are left to visit, Dainsleif will reveal more details about The Abyss, Khaenri’ah, or our twin. However, it is still uncertain whether Dainsleif is an ally or an enemy, as he seems to have the whole truth with him and not reveal it to us on purpose. Indeed, this knight has his own agenda as he seeks to free his compatriots and himself from his curse, in addition to his eternal war with The Abyss. Yet we must reach the end of the adventure in Teyvat before we meet our twin again.
