Kelly Ripa this week had fans commenting on her weight as she updated her Instagram with a stylish look while posing with husband Mark Consuelos. The talk show host, 52, often makes headlines for her incredibly toned physique, one known to be a result of regular workouts and her paying attention to what she eats.
While many fans sent the Live! host love as she slipped her figure into a slinky sleeveless dress, others commented on her weight, with more than one user suggesting that she needs to eat a decent meal. Ripa, who follows an alkaline, alcohol-free diet, proved a talking point this year as a fan assumed that she has 8% body fat, although trainer Anna Kaiser quickly rectified the incorrect assumption, stating that her body fat is actually 14%.

Looking ravishing in red, Kelly posed indoors and backed by mirrors, also accompanied by her cohost husband.
Showing off her shredded arms and sculpted shoulders, the blonde smiled confidently as she modeled a floor-length, sleeveless red dress, one flattering her tiny waist and coming with a chic cut-out, plus ruffly collar detailing. Rocking her light locks down as she wore matte makeup and a simple bangle accessory, Kelly stunned her fans, also reminding everyone that her 1996-commenced marriage to actor Mark is rock-solid. Mark, meanwhile, looked dapper in a black tie getup, with the popular couple posing for Time magazine.
‘Cheeseburger’ Comments Amid Weight Worries
Staying positive, one fan replied: “Great toned arms, Kelly, and the dress looks fabulous on you!” with another saying: “Those arms!”
Others, however, went for another vibe. “She looks like she needs a good Italian dinner or dinners !!” one fan wrote, with over 20 others agreeing. Elsewhere, a fan merely replied: “Cheeseburger,” also using an emoji. For some, though, the skinny-shaming just wasn’t cool. A fan responding to the “dinner” remark called Kelly “ripped” as they disagreed.
Kelly trained as a ballerina and has always been petite. Earlier this year, the star’s nutritionist opened up to reveal what Kelly eats.
“I’ve never met someone who is busier than Kelly. She is supermom. She is just amazing on the show,” Dr. Daryl Gioffre revealed to E! News, adding: “She works out seven days a week, and she maintains this incredible strength eating lifestyle that I’ve taught her.” In the diet reveal, fans learned that Kelly kicks the day off with a nutritious smoothie and even puts grass-fed butter into her coffee. Snacks, meanwhile, can include mashed apple and nut butters, the latter of which are a healthy source of fats.
