Jenna Dewan is a multi-talented star and she can dance and act. Dewan has landed a recurring role as firefighter Bailey Nune in the television series, The Rookie. In a behind-the-scenes video, she showed how she and her co-star, Mekia Cox (who is also a dancer), find time to have fun during breaks in filming. The show posted a video on its official Instagram account showing Dewan and Cox’s moves, and fans are loving it.

The short clip of Jenna Dewan and Mekia Cox dancing in front of hospital beds makes for an interesting contrast. “I wanna dance with @jennadewan and @mekiacox #TheRookie,” The Rookie Instagram account captioned the post. “They’re so awesome!,” a fan shared. “Omg I love ‘The Rookie.’ Pls don’t only do one ep a week I’m dying I need more,” another commented.
Fans have also praised their dance history. “One was MJ dancer, and the other was Janet’s … how iconic is that?” a fan gushed. Another comment reads, “The fact that Mekia used to be a dancer for Michael Jackson.” And the only thing that could make this video more awesome for fans of the show would be if the whole cast joined in!
Perhaps even more impressive is that, although Dewan is currently pregnant with her third child (and her second with fiancé Steve Kazee), she’s still able to dance!

Jenna Dewan has discussed her co-stars on The Rookie and the support she’s received throughout her pregnancy. “Of course. I mean, everyone’s amazing. Thank you, first of all,” Dewan said on a panel at the TCA Winter press tour (via People).“I say this show is lightning in a bottle because we all get along. As you can tell, I mean, we really all get along. It is a huge family on set, so I feel very taken care of.”
