One of the coolest weapons in Fallout 4 is the Tesla Rifle, but ever since the next-gen update rolled out, a (somewhat) new Tesla weapon has joined the list: the Tesla Cannon. You can pick one up at the end of the side quest ‘Best of Three’ as the quest reward. It hits pretty hard and the crazy part is you can get it shortly after you leave Vault 113. But in order to complete Best of Three you’ll have to be well-prepared. You’ll be venturing into the Glowing Sea!
Fallout 4: How to Fix Best of Three Quest Bug
Before you start your journey, you’re going to need a mod to fix the Best of Three side quest in Fallout 4 because it’s bugged (at least on

You actually need to access the Hopesmarch Pentecostal Church to advance the quest, but there’s an invisible floor that prevents you. With that mod, you’ll have no problem!
Fallout 4 Quest Guide: How to Get Tesla Cannon in Best of Three
As long as you have the Fallout 4 next-gen patch installed, you’ll find the Best of Three quest already on your Pip-Boy. Tune your Pip-Boy to the Vault-Tec Distress Signal and head to the marked location on your map. It takes you to the border of the Glowing Sea, to the corpse of a Vault 95 Gunner.
When you locate the Gunner, loot the Gunner Holotape from his corpse, read it, then highlight his body again. You’ll see a new option: Download Pip-Boy Data. Do that and choose the option that’s dated, not corrupted. It’ll give you the next marker to follow on your map.
The next Gunner is located at Hopesmarch Pentecostal Church, which is bugged unless you have the mod to fix it. You can enter in one of two ways: through the roof or down the steeple. Either way, the Gunner’s corpse is by the podium. Like last time, loot his holotape, read it, then download his Pip-Boy data.
Your next destination is to the Relay Tower 0DB-521. Be prepared because looting the next Gunner will spawn a group of bloatflies. Again, loot his holotape and download his Pip-Boy data. This time it won’t give a location, but a signal.
Open your Pip-Boy and tune it to Gunner Signal Remnant. As you move, the signal will get stronger or weaker, so always move in the direction that strengthens the signal (noted in the top-left). It’ll take you straight to Skylanes Flight 1665 and further into the Glowing Sea.
Upon reaching the wreckage, there’s a portion of the plane that has yet another Gunner corpse. Before you loot him, save your game! Once you’ve looted his holotape, Caroni — the subject of the entire Fallout 4 Best of Three quest — will appear seemingly out of nowhere with the Tesla Cannon.
That Tesla Cannon packs a wallop! I’m using a melee build and low-leveled on top of that, so I kept to Caroni’s back, bonking him on the head until he was dead. Once he’s dead the Tesla Cannon is yours.
