The new weekly challenges system that came with MW3 is keeping players busy unlocking the new attachments and weapons in the game. Not all these Aftermarket rewards are giant meta-crushers, but some of them deserve a round of applause, like the JAK Cutthroat that allows you to move way faster with the tanky AMR9. Speaking of which, the AMR9 SMG has received a new conversion kit called the JAK Atlas to equip in MW3 and Warzone loadouts after unlock. Another Atlas tech from 2030 is here then.
How To Unlock JAK Atlas Kit in MW3
You need to complete only five of the Week 6 challenges to unlock the JAK Atlas Kit in MW3 and Warzone. This conversion kit turns the AMR9 SMG into a burst-shooting rifle that you can use at best in close-range combat. Yes, it might look like an AR but it’s still not anywhere near the likes of DG-58 LSW and SOA Subverter.

Best JAK Atlas AMR9 Kit Loadout
- Conversion Kit: JAK Atlas Kit
- Stock: JAK Cutthroat
- Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
The JAK Atlas Kit is best used in a MW3 Multiplayer loadout as it allows you to get sweet one-tap kills. If you hit the upper body with this thing, the burst finishes off any targets in close to mid-range. However, the recoil that the JAK Atlas delivers to AMR9 isn’t its best feature.
So for that, we’ll have the Bruen Heavy Support Grip underbarrel to deal with the horizontal recoil, while the Sakin ZX Grip assists with handling the gunkick. The Monolithic Suppressor also helps with the recoil control while masking your shots at the same time.
Right now, we’ve got only one more attachment left, and we need some mobility points to score with it. So, the best option here for the JAK Atlas MW3 loadout is the JAK Cutthroat. This stock is factory-made for the MTZ, M4, and MCW platforms, and AMR9 is so lucky to be at this party. It buffs the basic and ADS movement speed so much that you feel like you’re using a pistol.
We tried building a long-range loadout with the JAK Atlas kit in MW3 and Warzone, but this weapon is just best for close-range combat. The barrels are locked, and if you put the High Grain Rounds on it, the gunkick goes out of this world. Also, the damage range of the JAK Atlas kit is so bad at the moment. Maybe they’ll buff this in future updates? I hope.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are currently available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
