Olivia Dunne has faced backlash over her latest Instagram post. Marking her return to Sports Illustrated Swim in 2024, the LSU gymnast posed from a party the magazine recently threw to mark its 60th anniversary, and she wasn’t alone.
Opening her gallery as she posed with 31-year-old former pro golfer Paige Spiranac, Olivia stunned in a slinky, sheer black dress, also including former SI Swim bombshell Tyra Banks in her share. While many gushed over the 21-year-old’s outfit as they continued to congratulate her on her success, some weren’t digging the snaps. One of the most-liked comments is seeing fans say they don’t “recognize” Olivia, with another popular remark challenging the “no boys” caption. Olivia does not appear to have responded to the comments.

Ditching her signature leotard for a glam dress, Olivia posed with beachy, waved blonde hair and tons of face highlighter—possibly what was behind fans’ not recognizing her.
Showcasing her lithe figure in a spaghetti-strap maxi dress that was largely sheer, the social media star twinned with Paige, who wore a similar dress in a strapless version. Sizzling in her figure-flaunting number, Olivia returned with various females attending the event, then switching to another black gown, this time opting for a red carpet-ready look as she went low-cut, cinched at the waist, and with silver glitter accents on her dress.

Fans definitely seem to love picking Dunne’s posts apart. Spotting a male in one slide, one fan gained over 1,000 likes for replying: “The one in the 5th picture is definitely a boy though.”
Over 500 fans, meanwhile, liked a comment reading: “That first pic don’t even look like livvy.” Replying, another wrote: “Looks like the woman that played CJ in the Baywatch movie.” Many, however, sent love, with Paige Spiranac herself commenting as she wrote: “Obsessed you’re so hot.”
Olivia made 2023 headlines for her SI Swim debut and its Puerto Rico shoot. This year, the Nautica partner was flown out to Portugal, where she stunned fans in swimwear looks shared to her social media.
Noting her immense popularity as she spoke to the magazine, Olivia said: “My most viral TikTok got 35.7 million views, which is crazy. I can’t even wrap my head around, but I’m just showing off my gymnastics skills.” Olivia is followed by 8 million on TikTok. Meanwhile, her IG following sits at over 5 million.
