On Monday, the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood reported that Kate was in the loop on their action plan, remained a “driving force” behind the center and was “excited” by the development.
The announcement, for many royal fans, was a milestone moment that proved just how much the royal mom of three has come in her recovery. However, before whispers of her imminent return to royal duties took form, a Kensington Palace spokesperson quickly debunked it, clarifying that the report by no means suggested Kate Middleton’s return to work.

In the statement, the rep explained that the projects spearheaded by the Prince and Princess of Wales were “always on,” with or without their active participation, and the Early Childhood Centre was no exception. The spokesperson continued,

“The princess is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team.”
