Robert De Niro fired back with expletives of his own after a mob of angry Donald Trump supporters attacked him outside the courtroom amid the ongoing trial. The Irishman actor has gained a reputation as Trump’s most outspoken enemy with his open criticism of the Republican presidential candidate. Perhaps this disdain for Trump put him atop the list when President Joe Biden’s party needed someone to address the media outside the courtroom as the hush money trial nears its end.
Reportedly, the Democrats dispatched Robert De Niro and 2 former Capitol Police Officers to the venue to serve as a mouthpiece against Donald Trump. The Hollywood legend did justice to the role, bashing the former POTUS in his scathing address. De Niro alleged that Trump would only destroy “this city,” and eventually the world if voted in. He also referred to the presidential aspirant as a “clown,” noting that everyone could kiss their freedom goodbye “if Trump returns to the white house.”

Robert De Niro’s presence did not sit well with Donald Trump’s supporters, especially in the heat of the hush money trail’s closing arguments. Not minding the security detail surrounding the actor, angry Trump supporters heckled him right outside the courtroom, hauling expletives at him. Many also threw words accusing De Niro of being a traitor to his people and the Jews.
At some point, Robert De Niro seemed fed up with the obscenities, halting his steps to fire back at the MAGA mob, per TMZ. He shot,
“We’re trying to be gentlemen in this world, the Democrats. You are gangsters! F–k you!!!”
His comment did little to quelch the sea of vitriol around him, but De Niro did not seem to mind. He maintained his composure throughout his stay outside the trial’s venue, speaking to various reporters about Donald Trump’s dark deeds, and the dangers of voting for him.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Robert De Niro would stand in for the Democrats in a public campaign against Donald Trump. Days back, Joe Biden’s campaign released an advertisement condemning Trump’s second bid for the presidency, calling him “out of control.” The voice behind the Biden-approved campaign was none other than De Niro. With Trump’s hush money trial coming to a close, the equally outspoken Republican just might have enough leverage to shoot back with his own nerve-wracking propaganda.
