Billy Ray Cyrus has moved to end his marriage to Firerose. The Hannah Montana star filed for divorce in May after less than a year of marriage. This marks the end of Billy Ray’s third marriage. He was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until 1991. He later married Tish Cyrus, and the pair were together for 30 years. They share three children together: Braison, Noah, and Miley Cyrus. The country singer also adopted Tish’s two older children, Trace and Brandi, as his own. Tish filed for divorce from her longtime husband in 2022. She’s now married to former Prison Break star Dominic Purcell.
Billy Ray and Firerose got engaged in the summer of 2022, just a few months after he ended his marriage with Tish. The couple were engaged for a year before walking down the aisle together in October 2023, per TMZ. Although the two have not announced their divorce to the public, divorce docs don’t lie. In addition, the duo are no longer following each other on social media.
Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose Are Over Amid Cyrus Family Feud
Back in April, Firerose may have hinted at trouble with Billy Ray Cyrus while celebrating six months of marriage with the singer. “6 months ago I married this man. ๐ค Life isnโt always easyโฆ but it sure helps when your husbandโs also your best friend,” she wrote.
Billy Ray and Firerose’s divorce may have an interesting impact on the singer’s relationship with his famous family. As of late, rumors of a major Cyrus family rift have been circulating. Noah Cyrus and her mother Tish are allegedly at odds after the matriarch reportedly dated her now-husband, Dominic Purcell, following his romance with Noah. In addition, Billy Ray and Miley’s relationship has also reportedly been on the rocks.
Recently, Billy Ray Cyrus gave his daughter, Miley Cyrus, a shoutout on social media. If his relationship with Firerose caused any tension between him and his daughter, he may now be looking to mend that following his divorce filing.
