Brytni Sarpy is famous for her role as Elena Dawson on The Young and the Restless. Since 2019, the actress has portrayed the beloved doctor on the CBS soap opera. On the June 12, 2024 episode, viewers noticed that Sarpy’s name was missing from the show’s credits. Although there’s been no official confirmation, it appears the actress is done with the soap opera.
Brytni’s exit from The Young and the Restless is upsetting to fans, who’ve voiced their displeasure on X. One viewer blamed the writers for not doing more with Elena:
With Brytni, I think no effort was made to write for Elena’s character when a lot could’ve been written for her character, especially when other characters who are new just got a storyline focused on them and it was a waste of Brytni as an actress honestly.
