In the new update, The Lucky Dragon in Disney Dreamlight Valley brought the theme and two iconic characters from the animated movie Mulan. It is precisely the main characters, Mushu and Mulan, who arrive in the valley; of course, you must first complete each one’s missions to take them with you. Fortunately, you can simultaneously complete both missions to get them with you and protect your valley from the Huns.

First, you will need 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock the door to Mulan’s Realm, the door with Mushu on the emblem. Once you unlock the door, you can travel to the training camp in the Dreamlight Valley realm and start A New Recruit Quest. After the trip, follow the path over the bridge and into the tents to meet Mushu. Mushu will first ask you to clean up all the rice and rocks around the camp. Then he will ask you to put on your uniform, so you must find all training uniform pieces scattered in the realm:

  • Training Shirt: Look in one of the medium-sized tents on the right side of the camp.
  • Training Socks: It is also in a medium-sized tent, but this one is on the left side of the camp.
  • Training Pants: When you enter the east realm of Dreamlight Valley, go before the bridge, turn left, and you will see two crooked trees. On the first tree, the pants are hanging.
  • Training Shoes: From where you found the pants, follow the same path to the left, following the river. On the right side of the bank, you will see a rock; there are the shoes.

You need to get close to the objects to see the glow and to interact with them. After finding your uniform, you must return to Mushu to prepare Mulan’s breakfast. He will give you the recipe and tell you to get the ingredients next to the cauldron. To prepare Mushu’s Congee you will need Garlic, Mushroom, Rice, Egg, and Ginger. Once the dish is ready, ring the Gong to wake up Mukan and give him his smiling breakfast.

While you leave Mulan to have breakfast, follow Mushu to the cauldron. There, you will both think of a way to keep the camp protected and then Mushu will ask you to collect all these materials to create Dragon Statues:

  • Take a picture of Mushu
  • x10 Dream Shards
You can get them with Night Thorns or digging in places with a glow in your valley.
  • x3 Buckets of Water
Go over the bridge, and before you enter the camp, there is a bucket to the right; another one is on the left side, next to the tree on the outside corner of the camp. The last bucket is coming out of the left side of the camp, passing the bridge and the trees on the right side; in front of the lake, you will see it.
  • x50 Cam Mud
Dig into all the holes in the ground that look wet and like a couple of rocks inside.
  • x10 Red Spider Lilies
  • x5 Chrysanthemums
  • x10 Firewood

The rest of the materials are scattered all over the realm. When you have everything, return to Mushu to create the Dragon Statues. The statues will take a while, so Mushu will tell you that as long as you complete Mulan’s training.

  • Orienteering
Mulan will ask you to follow her to the cauldron to begin your training. She will also give you some Weights to equip yourself for her task. In this mission, you will have to search the maze for Pebbles that Mulan hid; I recommend you to look in the smallest corners.
  • Brick-Breaking
Break all the white brick structures inside the camp, next to the cooking fire.
  • Fishing for Precision
Catch 10 Salmon in the realm river and add them to the cauldron.
  • Training Treasures
During all the missions, several strange objects appeared, and you had to give them to Mulan so you could keep them.

After Mulan’s Dreamlight Valley quests, you can talk to Mushu about the completed Dragon Statues, but there is an avalanche outside the camp. Go out and speak with them, and then Mulan will ask you to help her pick up the following debris:

  • x8 Sand Piles
  • x7 Rocks
  • x10 Broken Logs (You can also fish them out of the river.)

You must then help Mulan plant and water 10 trees to protect the site from future landslides; she will leave the space ready for the seeds all over the area. She will also ask you to craft 20 Sandbags and place them in the camp.

Mulan’s quests will be complete; she will only ask you to return to Mushu and complete the Dreamlight Valley Clearing the Road Quest. With him, you will need 25 Wooden Logs to craft a Fence. Most of them are Broken Logs from before, and the rest will be in the landslide area. When you have the fence, approach the mountain base next to Mushu at the ditch; just get close enough to see the Interact option.

Bring Mulan and Mushu to the Valley

After the fireworks, talk to both characters. Mulan will tell you that she is ready to go to your valley, so you must go back and place her house; it will cost you 20,000 Coins for her to travel there. However, to take Mushu, you must return with him to his realm so that he can give you a Dragon Statue and tell you that you need to find a Key. This Key is next to the carts that cut the map, leaving the left side of the camp; this Key is the one that opens the chest next to Mulan’s tent.
