When Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger first got together, not everyone was shipping their relationship because many fans felt he did his ex-wife, Anna Faris, dirty by seemingly moving on so fast. Despite this, the couple is still going strong; they’ve been married since 2019 and have two daughters. But a new report claims it’s not just Katherine, who the actor is super close to; he also gained a pretty great brother-in-law, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Pratt and Patrick have reportedly become so close that Pratt is helping his brother-in-law with his career. “If you know Chris, you know how devoted he is to Katherine and how he has bent over backwards to be a worthy addition to the extended Kennedy clan, both in his career and with the growing amount of charity work he is doing,” a source told Life & Style. “But the biggest contribution he’s making is getting Patrick’s career into shape.”
Chris Pratt Has Big Plans For His Brother-In-Law’s Future
“Thanks to his famous family, Patrick has had opportunities before Chris came into his life. But what Chris is doing is next level, and the best part is that nobody asked him for help,” the source claims. Now, it is entirely true that Pratt has enjoyed success in the entertainment industry, with some of his biggest successes including Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Parks and Recreation. In comparison, Schwarzenegger’s career is just taking off with smaller roles in Gen V, The Staircase, and The Terminal List.
But is there anything that Pratt can do about this? Can he help his brother-in-law reach star status? The new report seems to suggest this is a possibility.
“Chris hasn’t just become a mentor and big brother figure to his brother-in-law Patrick, he’s actually put him in his show and introduced Patrick to some of his most powerful friends in Hollywood, like James Gunn, the Guardians of the Galaxy writer-director who is currently making the new Superman movie in Atlanta where Chris shoots The Terminal List,” the source claims.
It remains to be seen if Patrick Schwarzenegger will become an A-lister, but he appears to be well on his way.
