With season 1 of Chris Pratt’s The Terminal List concluded on Amazon Prime Video, fans of the series may rightfully be fearing for the future of the show, especially given the sometimes-fickle nature of streaming platforms – however, Chris Pratt himself has gone on the air today to tease some new episodes for the series, assuring fans that they have nothing to worry about.
Terminal List, released to Amazon Prime Video in June, follows Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Pratt), a Navy SEAL seeking revenge for the murder of his family and answers after returning home from a mission where his entire platoon was ambushed. Along with Chris Pratt, the eight-episode first season stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians) as war correspondent Katie Buranek, Taylor Kitsch (Battleship) as former Navy SEAL Ben Edwards, and Jeanne Tripplehorn (Mrs. America) as Defense Secretary Lorraine Hartley, among others.

Following the conclusion of Terminal List season 1, the show reportedly received mixed reviews, with some complaining that the show’s main revenge plot was “rather too cliché and [offered] no new perspective”, according to Collider. However, despite the criticism, The Terminal List averaged 1.6 billion minute views across the eight available episodes, and though Amazon hasn’t released official word on whether the show will be receiving a renewal, Pratt and the show’s creators all seem pretty confident in its chances.
Earlier today, on an installment of Danger Close – a podcast run by Jack Carr, author of The Terminal List book series – Chris Pratt was asked about the possibility of another season of the show, to which he replied with the following, per Deadline:
“To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about. We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away.”
In addition, Carr added, “There may be some cool stuff on the horizon being discussed.”
The Terminal List hails from executive producers Chris Pratt, David DiGilio, Antoine Fuqua, Jack Carr, Jon Schumacher, Daniel Shattuck, and David Auge along with producers Max Adams, Kat Samick, Ronald Cosmo, and Vecchiarelli. Season one of The Terminal List is currently available on Amazon Prime Video.
