Everything you do in Once Human requires crafting materials. Something that I quickly realized is that as you upgrade to more complex workstations and better Memetics, the crafting materials become harder and harder to find. One of the trickier materials to locate is Fireproof Plastic, but I found a way to farm it fast so that you can craft more items. Let’s dive into where you can find and farm Fireproof Plastic in Once Human.
Where to Get Fireproof Plastic in Once Human
Fireproof Plastic can be found in the Iron River area on the Once Human map. After defeating the second Deviation, the Treant, the story will naturally take you to this area. The material can be found in storage boxes nearby, but you can gather so much more by farming them.
How to Farm Fireproof Plastic in Once Human
To farm Fireproof Plastic, go through different Rift Anchors in the Iron River and collect all the materials you can find. Quite literally. Press the Q button to check out the collectible materials around you and clean the house. Once you are ready to return to your base for any reason, go to the Disassembly Bench and disassemble all of the materials you found in the area.
Because so many of these materials are made from Fireproof Plastic, you’ll end up with way more than if you were looking for them in containers. In the example above, I was able to yield 12 Fireproof Plastic pieces after putting all the materials I collected in one run into the Disassembly Bench.
