Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone Season 5 are on the horizon and surprisingly, there aren’t many leaks and notification pops to reveal its details. With all eyes on Black Ops 6, MW3 and Warzone Season 5 content and release date are overshadowed. And that’s until we learned that the infamous El Sin Nombre is making a return after vanishing from MW2‘s story.
When is MW3 and Warzone Season 5 Release Date?
According to Call of Duty’s X account, MW3 and Warzone Season 5 starts on July 24, 2024. This season is set to bring us a crossover that we’ve probably never imagined to happen with WWE, thanks to Triple H and Activision, of course. The skins are not revealed yet, but we’ll probably get to see them in the upcoming teasers for Warzone and MW3 Season 5.
The size of the MW3 and Warzone Season 5 update is currently unknown, but after years of repeat, you should now know that you’re in for a 30+ GB download. Not to worry if you want to start the season at maximum speed from the beginning though; there will probably be a pre-download time a day before release, just like every other season.
Valeria Returns, Teaming Up With Makarov
After bringing back some of the MW2 weapons from the grave, seems like Sledgehammer Games likes to do more of that with the 2022/2023 Call of Duty operators as well. So in that line, Valeria is making a return in MW3 Season 5 with the same theme from MW2 Season 3, alongside two new and unknown operators with Konni Group arm badges.
The story of MW3 after the Campaign have been ignored for a long time now, and with Black Ops 6 drawing all the attention, it seems late for Sledgehammer Games to pick up the pace. With that in mind, Season 5 trailers are probably going to be more fashion shows of new bundles and cosmetics instead of showing us the actual narrative of what’s going on with Valeria on the scene.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are currently available to play on PS5, PS4,
