Once Human’s crate locations feel designed to send players on a wild goose chase. With no markers on the map to tell you where to go, you could spend a lot of time running around, only to come up with nothing. The Junkyard in Once Human is one such location with a mystical chest, a gear crate, and two Elite enemies. However, I did all the heavy lifting, so you don’t need to.

Rift Anchor Location

The Rift Anchor in Once Human is the only location in the Junkyard with an icon on the map. Nevertheless, I marked exactly where you can find it above. Ensure that you’re Level 19 before heading over because you won’t be able to unlock it otherwise. When in front of the Rift Anchor, press the F key and unlock it.

Gear Crate Location

Both the Gear crate and the Mystical crate are in the same location. When you enter the train station pictured above, several Rosetta grunts are talking. One of these grunts has his foot positioned over a crate; this is the Gear crate. Take down the grunts and open it up for your reward.

Mystical Chest Location

The Junkyard’s Mystical chest in Once Human is in the same location as the Gear crate, but in a train car instead. You’ll need to use the ceiling beams to walk over the Rosetta grunts in the room. Once positioned over the red train car with an opening in the roof, you can drop down and open the crate. Be careful not to drop down in the train car with Rosetta grunts inside.

Elite Enemy Locations

Lastly, the two Elite enemies in Once Human’s Junkyard are located in two different areas, as pictured above. One of the enemies is an Elite Rosetta Bruiser, while the other is an Elite Rosetta Mechanic. They’re both tanky, though the Bruiser has added armor and a shield to protect him. It’s nothing that a well-calibrated shotgun can’t take care of.
