Savannah Chrisley had a very special guest on her podcast this week. In an episode of Unlocked released on Monday, Savannah chats with Chloe Chrisley. While Chloe is biologically Savannah’s niece, she was adopted by Todd and Julie Chrisley, making the two sisters.
The two delved further into how they’re related. Chloe says it’s “exhausting” that people always ask who her parents are. The answer has always been “Julie and Todd.” When Savannah asked why she chose them to be her parents, she replied, “Because they’re my parents.”
Savannah also acknowledged that Chloe is well aware that she has biological parents. She was born to Chrisley’s estranged son, Kyle, and his ex, Angela Johnson. The tween confirmed that she knows who they are, though she did seem uncomfortable with the subject.
Savannah looked back at Chloe’s adoption day, recalling the little girl being “so excited” while their dad was “sobbing.”
Chloe shared that her adoption day in 2016 was “the best day ever” and called it her favorite memory with her family.
Chloe Also Got Candid About How She’s Handling Her Parents’ Time in Prison
Earlier in the episode, Chloe and Savannah discussed how the 11-year-old was feeling about the news regarding Julie’s appeal.
The tween explained that she heard some talk about it before the situation was explained to her in therapy. While it felt “good” to know her mom might be home early, she was also annoyed the details were being kept from her.
“I was mad at you for a minute but it’s fine,” Chloe told Savannah.
Savannah explained they were trying not to get her hopes up, which Chloe did understand. The two then discussed how therapy has been good at guiding conversations between the two.
