The number of gloves you can use in Slap Battles is past 200, and the list is constantly growing. As fun and weird as many of them are, only a couple really strike fear into the hearts of other Roblox players, like the Custom Glove. These gloves have such ridiculous abilities and are so OP that using them in Roblox Slap Battles essentially makes you a god. And the scary part? Most of these gloves aren’t all that hard to get.
Detonator Glove
The Detonator Glove doesn’t have a particularly whacky ability—you slap a person, they’re tagged, and then you can blow them up. What’s overpowered about it is 1) the blast is pretty large and hits multiple people and 2) you can tag multiple players before hitting the big red button. Boom! It’s arguably one of the most satisfying gloves to use in Slap Battles.
To unlock the Detonator Glove, you need to earn the Head Hunter badge, which is rather difficult. This is because you need to not only win a match of Slap Royale, but you need to have 15 kills, too. That’s a lot to achieve, so if you can, it’s best to have your friends join you, not in a private but public server. Ideally, they would let you win. Why not help each other?
Retro Glove
Now here’s where the strangeness begins, with the Retro Glove. It has not one but three abilities: the Ban Hammer, Rocket Launcher, and Bomb. What makes the Retro glove so unfair is how easily you can keep players from reaching you. Every attack has a knockback, not to mention the rocket launcher and bomb have short cooldowns.
To get the Retro Glove, you need to gather quite a few things, such as the Recall Glove, a player with the Error Glove, and a second player with the Glitch Glove. You only need to concern yourself with getting the Recall Glove, which is rather difficult in and of itself because you need to earn the Repressed Memories badge.
Unlocking the Retro Glove then requires you to get trapped by the Glitch Glove’s ability:
- Use the Recall Glove to escape the glove’s trojan.
- Get slapped by Error and you’ll be sent to an obby.
- Complete the obby.
Upon completing the obby, you’ll earn the Parkour Pwner badge, along with the Retro Glove as a reward.
Psycho Glove
A glove that lets you take away control from another player is a glove that’s completely and utterly unfair, like the Psycho Glove. What’s worse than using telekinesis? Once you get a quick slap in, you can activate your powers to pull them towards you, and there’s nothing they can do. You could throw them off a cliff, slap them again, or charge your telekinesis and blast them away!
With powers that strong, it’s no surprise that the Psycho Glove is one of the hardest gloves to get in Slap Battles. There are even more prerequisites than the Detonator Glove, including:
- Having the Reverse Glove and using it against another Reverse Glove user
- Entering The Ruins
- Completing the secret obby
The obby at The Ruins is tied to the Ultimate Control badge, which you’ll earn after completing it. More importantly, you’ll receive the Psycho Glove, too!
Custom Glove
While the Custom Glove isn’t as customizable as it sounds, it’s still one of the most OP gloves in Roblox Slap Battles. For starters, you can customize the power and speed of the glove, up to 60 and 20, respectively, but its rock can also instantly kill players. Best of all, you can change the decal of the glove and fool other players!
Unfortunately, the Custom Glove is one of the few gloves in Roblox Slap Battles that are locked behind Robux. It’s part of the gamepass for the game and costs 525 Robux. That’s for you to decide if it’s worth it, considering the glove’s powerful abilities.
God’s Hand
With a name like God’s Hand, it has to be good, right? Well, the God’s Hand has 250 power, which is among the strongest, and its speed stat is 17, which is also pretty darn fast. Oh, and it can stop time for five whole seconds. The crazy part? Only six gloves out of over 200 can actually resist the God’s Hand.
Surprisingly, getting the God’s Hand in Slap Battles is easy compared to other gloves, despite being undoubtedly OP. All you have to do is grind 48,000 Slaps, which is admittedly a lot, but you can get there quicker using Slap Battles codes and using the Orbit Glove to grind Slaps.
