Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta starts in almost two weeks, and Activision is already teasing what to expect from this testing playground. According to Treyarch, players will be able to carry forward some of the Black Ops 6 items that they earn during the beta to the main game. But that doesn’t mean you can store your loadouts.
According to a recent post by Charlie Intel on X, it’s been officially confirmed that some exclusive rewards will be given to those who play the Black Ops 6 beta. This is a practice we’ve seen in the past two years with MW2 and MW3, where players can earn exclusive camos and operator skins by only playing the beta before the game’s final release.
However, you should note that nothing has been officially confirmed or denied about weapons and ranking levels carrying forward status for Black Ops 6 beta. Call of Duty beta tests in recent years are like peas in a pod, so it won’t be shocking if players cannot transfer their weapon loadouts, rank levels, and items to the main game.
Speaking of similarities, there’s one big difference with Call of Duty 2024‘s beta: PlayStation users won’t be getting a head start this year. All players regardless of their platform will start playing the beta test on August 30, and a full showcase of Call of Duty‘s plan for 2024 will be revealed on August 28 in the Call of Duty Next event.
Remember that if you don’t own Game Pass or haven’t pre-ordered Black Ops 6, you can still play in the open beta on September 6. Also, you’ll earn the same rewards as the ones in the early access in the open beta period.
