This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

There are so many helpful Deviants in Once Human that you can’t help but go out into the Stardust-stricken land to try to find as many as you can. One of the most interesting Deviants out there is the Rain Man. It looks like a young ghost wearing a yellow rain slicker. Simlarly to the way it looks, you can count on it to keep your crops watered and healthy while you’re away. Let’s take a look at how to get the Rain Man Deviant for yourself in Once Human.

Where to Find the Rain Man Deviant

The Rain Man Deviant is an RNG drop from the Rainfall Reaper enemy. However, this enemy only appears in specific areas of the map. The two areas I’ve successfully encountered Rainfall Reaper are:

  • Harborside – (5970, -7019)
  • Securement Silo Phi – (5148, -2917)

Additionally, the enemy doesn’t always drop Rain Man, meaning that you might need to fight it a few times before you get lucky. If you’re patient, you can wait 15 minutes after you’ve defeated it so that it can respawn, starting the fight all over again.

How to Defeat Rainfall Reaper

The Rainfall Reaper’s weakness is its red umbrella. Just keep firing at it until it goes down, preferably with an SMG or LMG. At times, it will become invincible and summon other enemies that you must defeat first. After its defeat, you can go over to it, press the F key, and see if you are lucky enough to get the Rain Man.

What Does the Rain Man Do?

Rain Man is a territory deviant, meaning that it helps you around your base. Specifically, it’s great for helping your crops grow. Getting this Deviant is a good sign to begin focusing on your crops and building plenty of planters for you to plant with and fill your dinner tables with. Its skills are as follows:

  • Hoping for a Downpour – Rain Man will boost the vitality of crops according to its energy rating. Additionally, it will keep plants appropriately watered at all times, regardless of outside weather conditions.

You can also expect Rain Man to perform better in colder environments while also placing blue lights nearby. The ideal location for this Deviant to operate at maximum efficiency would be near a refrigerator.
