The XDefiant is knocked, and now it is time for another presumable CoD Killer to arrive. Delta Force: Hawk Ops looks and plays a lot like its Call of Duty counterparts in terms of gameplay, and the recent Gamescom trailer highlights its Campaign storytelling side of things. After popping the developing studio’s name twice on the screen, the name of the game has been cut to help us have shorter headlines.

It’s been a fun few weeks in the Delta Force: Hawk Ops alpha test servers, and we’ve got to experience the Multiplayer part of it. The game plays a lot like MW2 2022 with more innovative field upgrades, and now Team Jade is introducing a Campaign story for it.

Taking place in the year 1993, the Delta Force: Hawk Ops Campaign adapts the Black Hawk Down narrative of Riddley Scott’s movie. No certain character is addressed in Delta Force‘s new GTI, but it’s safe to assume that the narrative won’t be the main focus of this game.

Gameplaywise, the Delta Force: Hawk Ops trailer gave us the best look at how satisfying the sniping feels in this game alongside with destructibility of buildings; something which only Battlefield was the king of a decade ago. There’s also a big focus on the MW3-style Tac Stance shooting weapons, slide canceling, and an alligator that walks inside a lab of a brave scientist that doesn’t hesitate to not give a damn about it.

The trailer goes on and removes the “Hawk Ops” part of things, officially renaming the game like Warzone 2.0 got rid of the number. It’s noteworthy that Delta Force: Hawk Ops will be available in early access soon, and the full release date of the game is set for early 2025. Not to mention that the Campaign part of the game will not be free to play.

Amir is an absolute Call of Duty nerd, preferring shooter games more than everything. However, he does like to do uppercuts in Mortal Kombat and feel the NOS going through the engines in Need For Speed games.
