How To Enter Chapter 4’s Secret Area in Black Myth: Wukong

If you want to unlock the true ending, you must discover several secret realms and complete the relevant quests. In Black Myth: Wukong‘s Chapter 4, you can enter the Purple Cloud Mountain via a mural on the wall in the Temple of Yellow Flowers. To access this new zone, you must find and defeat Venom Daoist. He is a powerful, optional boss who seems intent on testing you on his brother’s behalf.

How To Access Purple Cloud Mountain in Black Myth: Wukong

You can access Chapter 4’s secret area in Black Myth: Wukong by beating the Venom Daoist boss two times. For the first encounter, you have to find a way to reach the Pool of Shattered Jade inside Webbed Hollow. Most players may have trouble reaching this zone since the path is quite complicated.

Where To Find Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine

Here’s what you need to do to reach this secret area:

1. Teleport to the Upper Hollow Keeper’s Shrine.
2. Take the path on your left side.
3. Pass through a cluster of spider cocoons.
4. Look for a wooden ledge near this area.
5. Jump off to the lower platforms twice.
6. Pass through a group of hanging cocoons.
7. Follow the tunnel and keep walking.
8. Pass through another group of cocoons.
9. Climb up the winding path upwards.
10. Turn right to find a Meditation spot.
11. Beyond it, you can see the Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine.

To find the secret boss, you just need to keep walking forward past another cluster of cocoons. The Venom Daoist will be trapped inside a massive cocoon. You must attack him until he breaks out and triggers the real boss fight.

How To Find Venom Daoist in Temple of Yellow Flowers

After you defeat the Venom Daoist in the Webbed Hollow, you need to face him again for the second time to access Chapter 4’s Secret Area in Black Myth: Wukong. This time, he will show up outside the Temple of Yellow Flowers. You have to defeat Violet Spider and then make your way outside Webbed Hollow.

Just keep exploring this new zone until you reach the Court of Illumination Shrine. Then, you can follow these steps to enter Purple Cloud Mountain:

1. Teleport to the Court of Illumination Shrine.
2. Turn around and head down the other path.
3. Keep walking forward until you exit the temple.
4. Climb up the stone stairs until you reach a junction.
5. If you go down, you can fight the Fungiwoman boss.
6. To face Venom Daoist, take the left dirt path that leads down.

Once you reach the open arena, the boss will drop down from above and drag you into another fight. This time, you have the Venom Daoist, which will have two phases. His speed and range also increase, so ensure that you’re ready.

After you defeat the boss, a mural will appear on one of the walls in the arena. If you touch it, you will be transported to the Purple Cloud Mountain area. In this zone, you can face off against The Scorpionlord, Daoist Mi, and The Duskveil. I suggest defeating the first two bosses first since they will disappear if you kill The Duskveil.
