Capcom has just announced that the upcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are also coming to Xbox next year. When the Marvel Vs. Capcom Collection was originally revealed, and fans were quick to point out the omission of the Xbox logo at the end of the trailer. The same happened when the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 was announced during the recent Nintendo Direct.

This rightly led fans to believe that both collections would only come out on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and wouldn’t have an Xbox version at all, but luckily, that problem has been sorted out. Not only was the company pressured by fans to make it happen, but Capcom finally resolved the problem after some “technical discussions” with Microsoft.

  • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
  • Marvel vs. Capcom Clash of Superheroes

  • The Punisher

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will include the following games:

  • Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro

  • Project Justice
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper

Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will come out on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC marketplaces on September 12, while the physical release will come out next month on November 22. But the Xbox release will be sometime in 2025.

As for the Capcom Fighting Collection 2, it will come out on all consoles in 2025, so Xbox fans won’t be missing out on anything. So far, there is no word on SvC Chaos, and whether it will also get an Xbox release.
