After saving Gedeek in Star Wars Outlaws, your next objective is to steal the original Viper droid from an Imperial facility during the Viper quest. As usual, you can’t allow yourself to get caught, or you will fail the mission. Kay will cooperate with the Rebels this time, but she is still responsible for her own solo mission. Your job is to reach the droid facility and open the path for Gedeek so he can stop the Empire from using his creation. Of course, you can expect a gunfight at the end of this mission.

You can enter the Imperial facility via a vent inside a sewer pipe on the left side of the bridge. The grate will be locked, but you can break it by shooting the power supply on the left. Just change your Blaster mode to Ion to destroy the circuit.

  2. Use the obstacles as cover and wait for the patrols to move away.
  3. You can open the chest, but to continue the quest take the lift.
  4. Ensure you knock out the guard in front of the lift before you enter.
  5. Follow the path and then jump on the pipe to your right.
  6. Look to your left and order Nix to pull down the shutter.
  7. Use your Ion Blast mode to destroy the machine.
  8. Leap to the yellow grate and pass through a broken fan.

Now that you’ve successfully infiltrated the base in the Viper quest, your next goal is to shut down the defense grid so the Rebels can attack. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Enter the next room and wait for the two officers to part ways.
  2. Knock out the two enemies and splice the door lock.
  3. Hide behind obstacles while you wait for the patrolling guard to pass.
  4. When the troopers are looking to the right, head to the left.
  5. Climb up the ladder and attack the lone soldier above.
  6. Knock out the officer and access the computer to disable the barrier.
  7. Go down the stairs and enter the next room.
  8. Order Nix to distract the soldier and enter the small chamber.
  9. Attack the officer and disable the camera using the computer.
  10. Open the door to your right and enter the hallway again.
  11. Knock out the guard if you want but you can enter the control room.
  12. Attack all the officers in this room and access the terminal.
  13. Enter the vent and meet with Gedeek inside the hidden room.

Now that the defense is down, you must grab the original Viper droid to progress the quest. Obviously, Gedeek is the only one who can tinker with the robot, so you need to clear out the room.

You can find four officers inside the droid laboratory. Most will stay on their spot, but the farthest officer will move around. After exiting the vent, you can knock out the closest enemy and make your way up.

Attack the officer on the second floor and wait for the patrolling officer to move away. Return to your initial spot and attack the enemy at the center of the room. Remember to ensure the patrolling officer won’t move before you do this. Once the man is down, you can take care of the last enemy.

After the area is clear Gedeek will enter the room. Prepare yourself for battle since stormtroopers will barge in after you pull down the containment field. ND-5 will attempt to help you, but the droid also brings another wave of enemies.

Once Gedeek edits the code of the original Viper droid, you have to help it go outside and help the Rebels fight off the Imperials. That is the end of the Viper quest in Star Wars Outlaws, but you still need to escape from Akiva, and you must win a tough space battle against the Empire.
