Jennifer Lopez is putting Ben Affleck in the past. The singer filed for divorce from the actor in late August. Now, she’s moving forward with her life, and it seems that one major way she’s doing so is to remove a tattoo that she got in honor of her love for Affleck and their marriage. The couple made headlines with their public reunion nearly 20 years after their first breakup. However, after tying the knot in 2022, the duo didn’t make it two years as a married couple, and it seems that JLo may want to forget.
In Touch Weekly reports that Jennifer Lopez recently showed up to the Toronto Film Festival to promote her film Unstoppable, which she worked on with Ben Affleck. JLo turned heads in a very revealing silver gown that’s now being called her “revenge dress.”
Did Jennifer Lopez Remove Her Ben Affleck Tattoo?
The ensemble featured heavy cutouts that showed a lot of the singer’s skin. In addition, it also revealed that she had the tattoo that she had gotten as a sign of commitment to Affleck removed, or at the very least covered up.
The tattoo was inked on her ribcage and featured an infinity sign with an arrow through it made of both her and Affleck’s names. Lopez debuted the tattoo in February 2023 on social media. “Commitment,” she wrote in the caption. “Happy Valentine’s Day my love.”
“Looks like Jennifer Lopez is moving on and making a fresh start! Covering up that tattoo is a powerful statement. Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to embrace change,” one person tweeted of the situation.
“Getting tats for a husband/wife is the kiss of death,” another comment read.
“She’ll never learn. All of the relationships she’s had in the past, she should know better than to get a tattoo. She should also know to have a prenup,” one fan pointed out.
“If she gets a tattoo for every relationship she’ll look like Post Malone,” quipped another.
