Savannah Chrisley has been unusually quiet. While the podcaster and Chrisley Knows Best star has kept fans up to date on the “fight for justice” for mom Julie Chrisley and dad Todd Chrisley, there’s been a recent shift. As it’s gotten closer to Julie’s resentencing, Savannah hasn’t touched on her parents’ most recent trials and tribulations serving time in federal prison.
This particularly alarmed fans recently, when Julie’s prisoner status was updated. While it briefly said she wasn’t in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, it has since been reinstated.
When Julie’s Whereabouts Were Uncertain, Fans Asked Savannah
The Chrisleys have a lot of loyal friends. When concerns about Julie began to circulate, many decided to go straight to the source. A number of people reached out to Savannah Chrisley on social media to get more information. Savannah didn’t touch on the subject until she tweeted about it on Monday.
Replying to a fan who said they were disappointed to hear that Savannah didn’t share any updates about Julie on the latest episode of her podcast, Unlocked, Savannah said she isn’t trying to be secretive. Rather, she has no choice.
There are things that I don’t have answers to at this point and time… Per my lawyers, I need to say quiet until after mom’s resentencing date on September 25th. TRUST ME… so much I want to say!!
Thank you for loving and supporting us!
In the absence of significant answers, Chrisley fans are speculating. Redditors are operating based on the experiences of others who have been in federal prison.
They believe Julie’s transport to Atlanta is being stretched out as a punitive measure for Savannah’s comments about the injustice she feels her parents are experiencing in the prison system. Her comments, which have gone so far as the stage of the Republican National Convention, have certainly raised eyebrows.
It’s a serious accusation to make but not entirely out of the realm of possibility. At this point, Chrisley fans are counting down the days until Julie’s resentencing. It’s then we’ll learn what the next stretch looks like for the troubled family.
