During your adventure in the Fire Temple, you’ll come across a blocked path in front of a node called the “Cool Breeze.” The section gives you a Klue saying that No Picnic Basket is needed, referencing a bear in Mortal Kombat 1 Invasions. It’s not Tekken, of course, and we don’t have Kuma to come along and deal with the business. However, the Animality finishers added to this game allow you to do just that with Outworld’s former General.

You can complete the No Picnic Basket Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 Invasions Season 8 by finishing your opponent using General Shao’s Animality called the “Bear Necessities.” There are no challenges for certain attacks or modifiers to deal with in this fight, and you can take the Sub-Zero in this section head-on and let Shao eat him.

Completing the No Picnic Basket Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 Invasions Season 8 rewards you with the Raving Warrior skin for Scorpion, a rare Relic, and 100 Seasonal Koins to spend for items. So far, it’s been the least rewarding Season of Invasions with less than 10 Klues and only 1 character skin/pallet per chest.
However, a cool addition to Mortal Kombat 1 with the Khaos Reigns DLC is the Towers of Time, where you can play the Legacy Tower and earn some of the unique character skins from the previous Seasons of Invasions. This game mode also allows you to play the DLC characters Noob Saibit, Cyrax, and Sektor for free in trial Towers, but that’d be for 7 fights with each kombatant only.
