If you’re starting in a new season or as a new player in Diablo 4 Season 6 or in Vessel of Hatred, Angelbreath can quickly become a bottleneck. It’s a necessary upgrade herb to boost your potions’ healing amount. Thus, having no Angelbreath can somewhat soft-lock you out of a progression. Worry not because here’s how to get Angelbreath and how to farm it efficiently.
Angelbreath Locations in D4: Vessel of Hatred
Certain activities reward Angelbreath better than others so even if the Angelbreath tooltip tells you where you can find it, I would still recommend sticking to one activity. That activity would be none other than Helltides.
Angelbreath pieces can drop from Helltide chests and the Blood Maiden in Helltide altars (if you have at least three Baneful Hearts). Thus, you can just keep repeating this activity to farm Angelbreath over and over again in Helltides.
From time to time, you might want to visit the Tree of Whispers as it can also drop Angelbreath in some of its reward caches. But I wouldn’t focus on the Tree of Whispers as a farming method for Angelbreath. Some activities take too long to level up your Tree of Whisper bounty.
The other, more peaceful method is simply finding Angelbreath shrubs out in the wild, but this is not a pleasant foraging experience. Angelbreath shrubs can be rare and random.
Boost Your Angelbreath Farming with Seething Opals
Before you focus-farm for Angelbreath in Helltides in Diablo 4, I recommend using a Seething Opal of Materials before farming. This type of Seething Opal can boost the enemy drop chance for herbs and other crafting materials.
They also grant a chance for any enemy to drop Angelbreath and can shorten your farming run. Do note that Seething Opals are Elixirs as well and can only last for 30 minutes. You have to take advantage of that 30 minutes of increased drop rate. Time your usage well depending on the Helltide timer.
To farm for Seething Opals of Materials, you need to do the Hatred Rising events in Diablo 4 Season 6.
