Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc are forever bonded together as Rachel and Joey from the hit TV series Friends. The pair were beloved as their on-screen characters during 10 seasons of the show. They even played love interests for a short period of time. However, their relationship doesn’t end there. The pair are now having real-life sleepovers as they deal with some big emotions following a recent tragedy in their lives.
Sources tell Heat World that Jennifer Aniston has been sleeping at Matt LeBlanc’s house to keep an eye on him. The actor has allegedly been taking former co-star Matthew Perry’s death very hard. Now, Aniston is worried about his well-being. In addition, another co-star, Courteney Cox, has also been lending a helping hand.
“They’re all still grieving the loss of Matthew, and Jen, in particular, harbors a lot of guilt about not being there for him like she should have been,” an insider dished. “Watching Matt struggle has been extremely difficult for Jen. She’s been spending a lot of time with Matt at his home in Pacific Palisades – cooking for him, or just hanging out and watching movies, or sitting and chatting. She’s even stayed over a couple of times, and both she and Courteney have been in contact to ensure at least one of them is around to keep an eye on him.”
Jennifer Aniston Helping Matt LeBlanc Through Dark Times
With the one-year anniversary of Matthew Perry’s death coming on October 28, it seems that Aniston, LeBlanc, and the rest of the remaining Friends cast members are still feeling the impact of the great loss. Perry was found dead at his home last fall. It was later revealed that his cause of death was from using the drug Ketamine.
“Like the rest of them, Matt has been deeply affected by Matthew’s death and the grief has hit him really hard,” the source continued. WWork has dried up, he’s found it difficult to date despite being desperate to settle down, and he’s been eating badly and not working out, which has been a huge knock to his confidence.”
Meanwhile, fans have strong opinions on the situation.
“It must be a terrible burden to know you have the stay a certain way always and forever because that’s how people know you. You’re not allowed to grow, change, evolve as you go forward in life,” said a fan.
“Let the guy grieve for his lost friend,” one person commented.
“Maybe he’s tired of being constantly reminded of his time on Friends. He’s probably trying to move on. Everybody handles grief differently,” said another.
“The tragic anniversary of Matthew Perry’s death is coming soon, and it seems that they’re all taking it very hard,” another person commented on Reddit.
Unfortunately, it seems that Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, and the rest of the Friends cast will never be the same. Matthew Perry’s death was a huge blow to those who loved him and his fans. The pain is still being felt nearly one year later.
