After many ups and downs, your journey will finally reach its climax as the succession tournament comes to an end. During the end game section of Metaphor: ReFantazio, you will start hearing about new Heroic Embodiments. This is another name for Royal Archetype, which is the ultimate class for your characters. In order to unlock these powerful Archetypes, you must fulfill several requirements. Many players may be unable to unlock them all during their first playthrough.
How To Unlock Royal Archetype & Heroic Embodiment in Metaphor: ReFantazio
Heroic Embodiment in Metaphor: ReFantazio is a unique Royal Archetype that can only be wielded by a specific character. The first person to gain this hidden power is the protagonist when he remembers his true identity and unlocks the Prince Archetype. This class is very powerful and definitely an upgrade from the Seeker Lineage.
While you can inherit skills from other classes, you cannot unlock the Prince Royal Archetype in another unit. However, your party members also have their own special Archetype that you can awaken. First, you need to upgrade their follower bonds until they reach Rank 8. The game will then tell you that you have unlocked the Grand Fantasy.
That is not the only requirement, though. Reaching Rank 8 only lets you see the Royal class node in the Archetype tree. You still need to fulfill the extra Archetype requirements that you have to master first to unlock this new class. Here’s how you can unlock all Heroic Embodiments:
