I love a good, heartwarming story about family getting together and enjoying each other’s presence. There’s just something about seeing how much someone truly cares about another person that warms my heart. Sometimes, however, getting together as a family also means challenging one another in games to see who is better. One girl decided to take up her dad’s offer of a one-on-one basketball game, leaving him shocked. It’s a good thing it was posted to Reddit!
The video depicts a girl and her dad playing basketball on their driveway. Every time a new set starts, the girl manages to find a way to get around her dad and score. It gets funnier as it happens more and more times until finally, she just decides not to do it anymore. Instead of trying to get past him, she just shoots from the three-point line and makes it in, ending the video.
You can really see how much this family enjoys hanging out with one another just by judging the way they talk and react to one another. Judging by the girl’s skills, this is probably something that they do pretty often. Commenters rushed to the replies to talk about their familial relationship while also pointing out that this is what age does to a person. More specifically, by using a popular quote from Malcolm in the Middle.

Others also noticed the dad’s smile throughout the video. It seems as though he is genuinely enjoying himself despite losing each time.

I’m willing to bet that the sibling in the background of the video is just as talented as their sister. However, it looks like their dad didn’t want to embarrass himself twice in a row by going against his other kid.
