Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie got her spot on the invite list to Sandringham, alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank, 38, and their two children. However, the latest move from Harry and Meghan may put the princess in dire straits, uncertain about where to nest this holiday season.
The Sussexes reportedly extended an invitation to the Brooksbanks to spend the Christmas holiday with them at their Montecito mansion. Given Princess Eugenie’s close ties to Prince Harry, the invitation is one she would be glad to hop on, especially with two kids in the same age range as her two children. However, with the royal invite to Sandringham, the princess finds herself in a tough position, almost like a test of loyalty. Royal commentator Jennie Bond has weighed in on the implication of this crossroads, and the likelihood of Eugenie reaching a compromise. She shared,
“It would be pretty bad form to refuse an invitation to Sandringham, and I imagine she would want to be with her mum and dad, after a difficult year for them as well. But I thing she values her relationship with Harry and Meghan too.”
