Imagine that you are taking out the trash, only for someone to come from behind you and attack you. A California man was caught on camera attacking an old woman from behind. The incident was shared on Reddit where a person posted pictures of what happened to their mother-in-law. They wanted to warn their community about what happened and to look out for this deranged California man. People were left in shock by what happened, especially since the old woman didn’t do anything to be attacked.
The person who posted the pictures wrote:
“My mother in law was taking out the trash yesterday morning at 9:00AM when someone suddenly attacked her with a wooden stick, striking her in the back of the head and front. This was an unprovoked incident that could potentially be considered a hate crime. We wanted to inform the neighborhood community so that this doesn’t happen again and we hope to find the perpetrator.”
In the pictures shared, you can clearly see the California man coming behind the old woman with a stick in his hand. The picture caught him while his hand was up in the air and ready to strike. The person who shared this didn’t state if his mother-in-law was okay or not. Hopefully, it is the former.
People Reacting to the California Man’s Attack
People in the comments were enraged by the California man’s behavior and the fact that he attacked an old woman. Someone hoped that the family would file a report about the incident. “What the f**k. I hope you file a police report. And find this absolute scum bag of an excuse for a person who assaulted an elderly lady with a fucking sucker punch. I am so sorry and hope you are all ok and she recovers easily,” they wrote. Another person said, “WTF. Who attacks an old woman?” The well-wishes kept going as someone said, “Holy s**t I hope she’s OK.”
Others started giving advice to the family on how to handle this situation and find the California man. “I would ask your neighbors if they have any video footage as well, to compile a complete police report,” one wrote. Another said:
“I work in IT, and I strongly recommend that OP attempts to view these videos/photos from a computer, where they might be MUCH higher quality. I know my cameras like this take far better quality than what’s here in the reddit screenshots off a phone, so definitely check the recordings on a computer where the full quality may be accessible. Someone else wished that they manage to find the California man soon. “That is horrible! Hope your MIL is ok and that someone finds that racist lil twerp fast so this doesn’t happen to someone else. Our elders shouldn’t have to be fearful to do things like take out the trash!” It’s honestly a horrifying incident that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Hopefully, the old woman is doing okay and isn’t seriously injured.
