Road rage incidents are, unfortunately, happening all the time. Sometimes, they might end quickly with no serious damage. Other times, things can go downhill. It is always better to try and avoid road rage incidents instead of encouraging them with your behavior. This wasn’t the case for a New York woman. She got into a disagreement with another driver, and instead of trying to calm things down, she seemed to be fueling them even more. People kept mentioning how it was wrong and stupid of her to try and mock the other driver. This situation could have ended badly.
In the video posted by the New York woman’s partner, they wrote, “Guy gets mad at my girlfriend for laughing at him and throws food at her car.” The first thing that comes to mind is why she is laughing at him in the first place. While we don’t know the reason, we can hear the New York woman saying, “I got your license plate.” The man in the other car gives her the middle finger before he starts to throw food at her car. Instead of driving away while still safe, the New York woman keeps teasing him by saying, “Come on. Come on.” When the man tries to throw more food at her, it doesn’t reach her car this time. Her response? Mocking him again and saying, “Oh, didn’t even make it.” She is lucky that he drove off.

People were left bewildered by why the New York woman would be trying to annoy the other driver even more. After all, it could have ended badly, or he could have had a gun with him. Someone warned the New York woman by saying, “With these sort of things it’s best to try to prevent the situation from escalating instead of angering the driver even more. When it comes to road rage, you never know if someone is going to pull out a weapon.” To which another person responded, “Yeah this is how people get murdered. Antagonizing.” Another person wrote, “No s**t. But if OP’s girlfriend keeps doing what she’s doing on the roads she’s going to end up having a driver throw something worse than fast food.” This is definitely true.
The comments finding the New York woman stupid for how she behaved kept going on. Another person chimed in and said, “Yeah I’d be careful who you mess with doesn’t seem cool or smart. But hey that’s just me.” Another Redditor told the New York woman’s partner, “Your gf has zero survival skills.” While many people saw how serious the situation was, others found the funny side to it. One person commented on how the man was throwing away food like it meant nothing. “Have you seen the price of fast food these days? Must be nice to be this loaded to throw food like this!!” Another agreed as they said, “Seriously all I could think was ‘that’s like $7 he’s throwing!’” In all honesty, I was worried more about the New York woman’s safety. She is lucky that it stopped at food being thrown.
