When you pass by a school bus, the only thing you expect to see inside is some kids. Even if you are driving behind one, the windows in the back should only be showing you the students inside, right? After all, it’s called a school bus for a reason. In Austin, however, a Texas school bus was caught on camera while it didn’t have any kids inside it. Well, what did it have inside? No one knows. What we can see are… propane tanks.
In a picture, you can see the back of a Texas school bus with four propane tanks hanging on it. There are two on the right and two on the left; all of them are secured in place. Why would a school bus have propane tanks? Things get weirder when you see realize the owner of the bus used some kind of black spray to cover the words “school bus.” So, if we assumed that the owner bought the bus and changed its purpose, who in their right mind would buy a school bus to hang some propane tanks on it? That screams a call to the police.

Netizens have been guessing what on earth is going on here. One person said, “Mobile meth lab.” I kind of agree because I felt like I was watching a deleted episode of Breaking Bad. Another replied that the owners probably live inside the bus as well. “They also live there,” they wrote. The meth lab claim continued as someone said, “Oh that’s Methew and Methany’s mobile meth lab.” Another jokingly exclaimed that there was nothing dangerous about the school bus and the tanks. “There’s no safety hazards there! Nope!” they added.
While my first thought was Breaking Bad, others thought of Fast and Furious. And you know what? I can see it. “When that baby reaches 88 MPH, you’re going to see some serious s**t,” someone wrote. Another guessed what the Fast and Furious film about the bus will be called. “Fast and the furious 19: The Field Trip,” they added. Not a bad name. The film references kept going as another Redditor said, “this is legit some dark knight joker s**t.” After this, more wise guesses started to appear. “Notice that ‘SCHOOL BUS’ is painted out. Probably a school bus to RV conversion and the propane is for cooking and heating,” they wrote. I still choose to keep believing that it is a meth lab.
