Whether it’s a feature-length film, a television show, or a Netflix original, modern-day film and television are made up of huge teams behind the scenes. And while on-screen talent may rake in the notoriety starring in them, it’s important to acknowledge the large role the behind the scenes team play in their success. Unfortunately, it seems like a large group of Makeup Artists haven’t even been credited for their work on Bright.

StudioADI (Amalgamated Dynamics Inc) had a huge role in bringing Bright to life. Over 50 hero makeups and another 85 background masks were created by the company in order to make the movie’s unique fantasy characters fit in with the modernized settings.

Despite this, the Oscar-winning effects company revealed that every single one of its employees that worked on Bright were omitted from the Netflix original’s credits. All 60 of them.

On rare occasion unintentional credit omissions are made. When you see those never-ending lists of crew in the credits of a movie like Bright you can be guaranteed that mistakes are going to be made.

That’s what happened to us. Our entire crew was left out of the credits.

ADI goes on to say that they are working with Netflix and the Bright crew in order to rectify the situation. Until then, the company has listed every artist involved in the projected that didn’t make the credits. The full list can be seen on their official website, alongside the statement, here.

StudioADI has been around for over 25 years. In that time, they have worked on a bevy of important, effects-heavy, feature films. Tremors, Alien 3, Starship Troopers, The Nutty Professor, the Spider-Man Trilogy, The Incredible Hulk, and Ender’s Game are just a few of the big-name projects the studio has been apart of since being founded in 1988.
