Usually, we see some of the best outfits for our Guardians in the store, which means we need to save up some silver for them. However, there are also some instances where Bungie places some fantastic drip in-game, and you can actually get it just by playing the game normally. Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate has done something like that by bringing a free set of Samurai-looking armor for all classes. The best thing about it is that the activities that drop this armor are easy to do, and you can jump into them alone or with a few other players.

How To Get the Bushido Armor Set in Destiny 2

The Samurai-looking set is called Bushido, and you can obtain it by doing the Portal Pinnacle activities of Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. You can jump into these instances alone or with other Guardians. You’ll obtain armor pieces by opening the Pinnacle Ops Gear (Tier 1 Engrams). These items have a chance of containing the armor, as well as some of the other weapons you can see in the above image. However, there is one way you can guarantee an armor drop and not have to spend a lot of time grinding engrams.

If you head to the Portal Pinnacle activities, you’ll spot a few of them with an armor icon. This icon means that a piece of armor will definitely drop. However, if you prefer to do another Pinnacle Op, you’ll need to get lucky and get it from an engram. With that in mind, farming the activity with the guaranteed drop is the best approach. It is important to remember that the guaranteed drop is the one that the icon shows. So, if it says you’ll get the headpiece, that’s the only one you’ll get. If you want to complete the set, you’ll need to grind some engrams.

Is The Samurai Armor Worth It?

With all the changes to the armor system, it might be hard to say. In terms of gameplay, the drops will begin at Tier 1, which is the weakest. However, in terms of visuals, it is definitely worth getting. We don’t often get armor as cool-looking as this one, so spending a few hours to get the whole outfit is ideal. Also, your Kepler gear tiers might upgrade as you progress through the campaign, meaning that this Samurai armor will also be helpful depending on your power level in Destiny 2.
