While it wouldn’t be fair to call all live-streamers self-centered narcissists, it certainly feels like it’s becoming easier to find unhinged people with a camera, posting chaotic content online. Most of the time, they stick to making long, rant-filled video essays on YouTube. But if you’re especially unlucky, you might stumble across a deranged live-streamer desperate for views and internet attention. For one unfortunate Starbucks employee, that nightmare became a reality when they encountered none other than infamous Ohio live-streamer Trevon Sellers.
The video starts off innocently enough. Trevon Sellers enters the Starbucks and asks for a cup of water, specifically, a venti-sized one. The employee obliges and quickly hands it over. But instead of drinking it and leaving, Sellers takes the cup and hurls it at another employee who’s in the middle of making a drink for a different customer.
Fortunately, the cup doesn’t hit her directly, but the water and ice go flying, splashing everywhere behind the counter. The employees stare in disbelief. Trevon simply shrugs and says, “Sorry, my hand slipped.” The staff clearly doesn’t believe him, but bound by corporate policies and customer service expectations, they don’t confront him directly. Instead, they hand Sellers another cup. And what does he do next? You guessed it, he throws it again. The video ends shortly afterward.
The incident quickly went viral, sparking outrage across Reddit and other platforms. Many users expressed shock, anger, and disbelief at the Ohio live-streamer’s behavior. One user wrote, “This is the behavior of a legit psychopath. I feel so bad for the workers.” Others said they hoped the Starbucks employees would ban him from the store or call the police.
Disturbingly, this isn’t the first time Trevon Sellers has been caught doing something horrifying for views. In a separate video that went viral two years ago, he threatened to rape and kill a kitten as a “prank” while standing in front of an animal adoption worker. The footage showed him handling the kitten without care as it cried and meowed in distress. When the worker tried to take the kitten away, he refused, clearly enjoying the discomfort and alarm he was causing.
Sadly, it doesn’t end there. Other disturbing incidents attributed to Sellers include stomping a baby rabbit to death after shooting it with a pellet gun, handing out condoms inside a baby store, and destroying a Girl Scout cookie stand because all the Girl Scouts were white. Each event more disturbing than the last.
Despite the outrage and repeated calls for action, there has yet to be any real consequences for Sellers. He continues to spread his chaos unchecked, leaving behind a trail of harm and horror, all in the name of attention.
