Imagine that your birthday gets ruined because someone crazy out there decided to stalk you. This is what happened to an Oregon woman who was left shocked after discovering that a hotel’s valet put an AirTag in her car. According to her, her car was brand new since she bought it on the same day she went to the hotel. Everything throughout the day was going normally until she left her car at the valet. Right after this, her iPhone notified her that she was being tracked. This was when she went through the entire car until she found the hidden device. Some might have thought that the previous dealership left this, but she made sure to ask them about this. They denied putting an AirTag in her car since they have their own GPS.
The only possible explanation is that someone from the hotel valet did it. After all, her phone started warning her when she left her car. As any wise person would do, she gathered proof of everything that happened and shared it with the authorities. According to an update posted by her, police are currently doing their investigation. Even the hotel is doing the same to find which one of their staff members was behind this. The AirTag was definitely not left by mistake as well. Whoever put it there made sure to hide it in the chair behind the car seat of the Oregon woman’s son. You don’t want to imagine what could have happened to her and her family if she hadn’t found the device. What makes the situation more terrifying is how she said that she lives in a high trafficking area. Thankfully, things ended as they did.
People Reacting to the Oregon Woman Being Tracked
People were just as shocked as the Oregon woman at the fact that someone at the valet was tracking her. They found it insane too since someone wrote, “That is so crazy wtfff. Omg I am so sorry smh ‼‼” One person then said, “Police Report. Apple registers every device. Easy.” It’s a good thing that the victim is following this advice on her own. Some people also started guessing why the valet would have done something like this. “Hotels are known for trafficking,” one person said. There was some doubt that the valet would do this which is why another person asked, “Why would a hotel or valet place an airtag in your car. Seems kinda crazy.” This is when someone replied by saying, “To go steal it later once it parked. Inside job car theft.”
There were other theories about what happened to the Oregon woman. Many believed that it was her husband who left the AirTag there and not the hotel. “Yeah it’s your husband’s air tag he’s tracking you and blaming the hotel because he got caught,” one person wrote. Another person also said, “Airtags are too expensive for valets to be doing this. It was likely your man & he blamed the valet because he didn’t want to get caught.” Someone else had the same opinion as they wrote, “Check the registration on the airtag. Its prob your husbands.” Apparently, people don’t trust men anymore. I still think that the valet theory is the right one. It would be a great plot twist, though, if it were actually her husband.
