Platform-exclusive games are often treated as “Holy Grails” for many gamers, especially if they’re as popular as Schedule 1, which is only available on PC. However, to many PlayStation owners’ surprise, a couple of “Schedule 1″ titles started popping up on the PlayStation Store, leading many to believe that the game had already been ported. Turns out they were just fakes, and thousands of people found out the hard way.
The latest among these copycats is titled Schedule 1 – Drug Dealer, and it’s still up on the PlayStation Store, being sold to everyone for $12.99 (US). Upon closer inspection, however, you can see that it has a rating of only 1.32 stars out of 460+ ratings and counting, with 89 percent of the ratings being one star. These were likely from disgruntled and mad buyers after finding out that the Schedule 1 game they bought was a fake, or in game dev terms, “shovelware” made to capitalize on another title’s popularity.
Surprisingly enough, there were still a smaller percentage of 5-star ratings for the fake Schedule 1 game. It’s worth noting that this is not the only fake Schedule 1 game on PlayStation Store, as another one, titled Schedule 1: Dope Empire, has fooled as many as 2,000 players back in mid-2025, according to Game Rant. Schedule 1: Dope Empire, for the record, is still currently for sale.
It goes without saying that these clones are not affiliated with the actual Schedule 1 developed by TVGS. The real Schedule 1 remains a PC exclusive, usually being only available on Steam or GeForce Now. Despite this PC exclusivity, Schedule 1 is a breakout hit, selling over 8 million copies and having 460,000 concurrent players at its peak on Steam.
When will Schedule 1 be on the PlayStation?
In any case, Schedule 1 is a fun and rather chaotic drug dealer simulator where players can start from the bottom of the drug empire chain and work their way up to kingpin. This different and transgressive premise for gaming made many PlayStation players more than curious about the drug dealer game. Schedule 1 is still in early access at the moment.
As for when Schedule 1 will be released on the PlayStation or other consoles, there’s actually no confirmation or news that it will ever be ported. Since Schedule 1 is still in early access, there’s a low-to-zero chance PlayStation users will be able to play it on the PS4 or PS5, at least until the game gets its complete 1.0 version. Hence, PlayStation users ought to be wary of any Schedule 1 game popping up on the PlayStation Store.
