Bruce Willis‘ daughter, Tallulah Willis, admits growing up in the spotlight of two Hollywood celebrity parents wasn’t easy. Being Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter is tough, but for Tallulah, she claims that at times it could be brutal.

Tallulah Willis says that while growing up, she was once cruelly teased for sharing her father’s distinctive features. The 31-year-old actress is now reclaiming her identity with pride. Tallulah says she was cruelly targeted by a well-known celebrity columnist (Perez Hilton) who ridiculed her chin, a trait she inherited from her iconic father.

The bullying affected her so badly, according to Globe Magazine, that it drove her close to her breaking point, leaving her ashamed. So much so that she was unable to even speak the word “chin” out loud for years.

However, years later, things have changed for Tallulah Willis. She now says she sees the very feature that once caused her pain as a “precious gift.” Describing it as a connection to the father she loves deeply.

Sharing many photos of herself alongside Bruce, Tallulah expressed that the resemblance now fills her with emotion. Everything she disliked about her looks, she now says, she loves, describing it as all reflections of the man she respects very much and who shaped her life.

“My Lordy! If I am NOT this man’s child,” reads her caption. “The face, the smile, dare I say it, the chin. What a cursed child I was for inheriting this joyful, expressive feature, alive with emotion!”

In a recent social media post, Tallulah Willis describes the cruelty of the past while celebrating the resilience she’s now built from it. Her post quickly gained support from other clebrity kids who understood the struggle.

Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, echoed her experience with similar bullying, celebrating her own chin. Sailor Brinkley Cook, daughter of Christie Brinkley, also weighed in, affirming Tallulah’s beauty and power.

As previously reported, Bruce Willis’ fight with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) has taken a heavy toll on his family. His daughters are mourning not only the dad they see today but also the father he once was.
